Description
Teens looking to volunteer at Joppa Flats this summer must complete 12 hours of training over three sessions. During the training, learn how to assist staff with our public programs featuring live beach creatures and pollinators like butterflies and moths. Training includes a half-day on the beach, a half-day orientation at Joppa Flats, and a full run-through of our live beach creature public program.
Teen volunteers act as role models for our visitors and should be passionate about learning about local ecosystems and want to share their knowledge with others on how to protect our coastline.
