Woodland Owls of Essex County

Description

Owls, with their haunting hoots, silent flight, and humanlike eyes, have been woven into folklore and legend since ancient times. Even today, because of their mostly nocturnal habits, owls are a fascinating, somewhat elusive group of birds to study. Spend an evening searching for and learning about owl species that occur in Massachusetts. We'll hike under the moon lit sky to listen and look for Great Horned, Barred, Northern Saw-whet, and Eastern Screech-Owls.

Checking registration status.
