Tracking Mammals in Winter

Description

Practice the art of tracking mammals to learn what's been active in winter. Snow or no snow, we'll walk the sanctuary woodlands and wetlands in search of tracks, chews, scat, and other evidence to interpret. Learn about the life histories of mammal's native to Massachusetts including squirrels, coyote, deer, beaver, and more. You'll leave with the identification skills needed to enrich your winter walks by identifying the signs and clues left behind by local wildlife.
