Description
What is the fastest growing outdoor activity in America? It's birding! In the next 50 years, birding will grow at a faster rate than the U.S. population. During this workshop, we'll discuss birdwatching basics, how to choose the right binoculars, and what to look for in a field guide. Next, we'll head out onto the sanctuary and learn what to look and listen for to help identify these beautiful creatures.

Wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and uneven terrain. Participants should be able to walk a mile or more. Bring binoculars or borrow a pair of ours, and a field guide if you have one.
