Birding for Beginners

Description

This beginner class covers the basics that make birding click: how to handle binoculars, what to listen for, and which species turn up at Ipswich River in March. After a short indoor introduction, head outside with a Mass Audubon naturalist to try the skills out on the sanctuary trails, right as the first spring migrants arrive. By the end you will have the tools and the confidence to find birds on your own.

Binoculars are available to borrow if you do not have a pair.
