Terrific Toddlers: Winter Birds

Description

Some birds leave for the winter and some stick it out. Here's your chance to get to know the ones that stay.

Handle real feathers and nests to find out what makes a bird a bird, then head out on the trails to look and listen for chickadees, nuthatches, woodpeckers, and whoever else turns up. Back inside, you will make a pinecone bird feeder to take home, so the birds in your own yard get a winter meal too.

Checking registration status.
