Terrific Toddlers: Winter Homes

Description

Where does a chipmunk sleep when the ground freezes? Bundle up and head into the winter woods with your toddler to hunt for the nests, holes, hollow trees, and brush piles that animals turn into homes.

With the leaves down, shelters that stay hidden all summer are suddenly easy to spot. Discover what makes a good winter home, then gather sticks, leaves, and bark to build one of your own.
