Description
How do wild animals make it through a cold, hungry New England winter? Over six Wednesday mornings, your six- to eight-year-old learns the answers from the animals themselves.
Each session takes on a different winter skill: building a shelter from almost nothing, purifying water so it is safe to drink, setting game cameras, and watching the birds that stay through the cold. Students find out how wildlife survives here, and why protecting habitat matters for every animal that depends on it.
This drop-off series gives homeschool students a regular outdoor community and skills they can use anywhere.

What To Expect
Each session includes time outdoors, so dress in warm layers and wear sturdy, waterproof footwear. More details on what to bring and expect will be emailed to you ahead of the program. A Youth Health History form is required.
