Description
With the shortest day of the year on the horizon, come celebrate the lengthening days ahead with a candlelit evening walk on the trails of Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary. Start in our cozy, heated barn, making your own mason jar lantern while sanctuary naturalists share the science behind the solstice.
With your lantern glowing, you'll set off on a stroll through the forest, watching and listening for signs of wildlife active in the winter night. This is a warm, wonder-filled way for your family to mark the turning of the season together.
