Description
As dusk settles over Ipswich River in December, it's the perfect hour for the youngest owl enthusiasts. Before heading outside, toddlers and preschoolers will gather in the cozy Nature Center to explore real owl feathers, skulls, and talons for an up-close introduction to how these birds live and hunt. Then it's time for a gentle hike as the light fades, watching and listening for Barred Owls, Great Horned Owls, and Eastern Screech-Owls along the sanctuary trails.
The evening wraps up with an owl-hooting lesson and a take-home owl craft, making this a wonderful first owl prowl for the youngest nature lovers.
