Description
Autumn turns Ipswich River's trails into a nature detective's dream, and this session is built for the youngest investigators.
Toddlers and caregivers will take a close-up look at the sanctuary's native fall flowers and trees before setting out for the Maple Forest on a leaf hunt to discover why leaves change color and fall from the trees.
The adventure ends with everyone making their own leaf and bark rubbings to take home as keepsakes of the morning's discoveries.
