Ever wanted to try sketching but didn't know where to begin? This relaxed art program is built for true beginners. You'll learn line and wash sketching, a friendly technique that pairs simple ink lines with loose watercolor to create bright, expressive drawings.
Jess Yurwitz of Slow River Studio in Topsfield starts you off with a short lesson, then heads out onto the grounds to sketch alongside you before the group gathers to add color and share what you made. Bring your curiosity and leave with the start of a new creative habit.
