Chickadees: Fall Homeschool Series for Young Explorers
Description
Chickadees are curious, bold, and endlessly energetic: a pretty good description of the four- and five-year-olds in this series, too.
This eight-session series pairs a parent or guardian with their little one for a season of guided nature exploration at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary. Together, the group will discover the wild superheroes of the natural world: the animals and plants with remarkable adaptations for flying, breathing underwater, and defending themselves in surprising ways.
Activities include trail games, pinecone birdfeeder making, and pond creature collecting, with each session building on the last as fall deepens around them.
