Description
Great Blue Herons are patient, precise, and capable of remarkable things. This homeschool group aims to be all three. The Great Blue Herons series is designed for students ages 9-12 who are ready to hike farther, tackle more complex natural history concepts, and take on more challenging projects than the younger groups.
The series centers on the wild superheroes of the natural world, exploring the extraordinary adaptations of local species through population dynamics games, wooden boat building, and amphibian and insect collecting across the sanctuary's varied habitats. Eight Wednesdays of investigation, community, and genuine discovery.
