Description
Have you ever watched a turtle basking on a log and wondered what's going on inside its shell? This program answers that question and more! Toddlers and caregivers will handle real turtle shells, learn what turtles eat and where they live, and then take a stroll to the Rockery—the sanctuary's most beloved spot—to try and catch a glimpse of a live turtle in its natural habitat. The morning wraps up back inside with a colorful paper-plate turtle craft to take home.
