Family Evening Canoe Adventure

Description

When the light fades and the day cools down, the Ipswich River shifts into a different gear—and that's exactly when this family canoe paddle begins. Gliding along the river at dusk, you'll look and listen for the animals that thrive in and around this remarkable waterway, from birds settling in for the night to mammals stirring along the banks.

A certified instructor will cover canoe safety and basic paddle strokes before you set off, making this a welcoming adventure for families new to paddling and seasoned river explorers alike. The Ipswich River was once listed among the most endangered rivers in the country; an evening spent here makes clear why it deserves to be cherished.
