Homeschool Spring: Red-Tailed Hawk Class (Ages 6-8)

Description

Red-tailed Hawks have keen eyes, curious minds, and can soar long distances. This group is for our students ages 6-8 that introduces homeschool students to basic ecology while nurturing an appreciation for the natural world.

This season, explore the many different ecosystems of the sanctuary from fields to forests to wetlands. How are these wild places the same or different? What plants and animals are waiting to be found in each? Through hikes to our vernal pool, stone bridge, and canoe landing; we will make scientific observations of animals and collect real world data. We will also investigate the cycles and connections that these places share and what makes them so wonderfully unique.

* If needed, we will have a make-up class on June 10.

Checking registration status.
