Description
Canoe the Ipswich River under the magical light of the full moon. Watch for ducks, herons, and other birds, as well as bats flitting above the water. You might see muskrats or beavers swimming by or feeding at the river's edge. As the light dims, listen for owls calling and other sounds of nocturnal animals. We will stop on one of the river's islands to enjoy a campfire and snacks.

Instructions
Meets in front of the Visitor Center. All equipment will be provided. Participants should have some canoeing experience and be able to walk a half mile on uneven terrain. Wear footwear appropriate for muddy trails. Bring a water bottle, binoculars and a drybag for personal items, if you have one.
