Description
Get ready for an evening out that's a little wild! March's freezing nights and mild days create the conditions needed for maple sap to flow, starting the long process of an iconic New England treat.
Walk the sanctuary with a naturalist to visit our tapped trees and learn to tell maple species apart by bark, buds, and branching. Find out how sap becomes syrup through traditional methods, watch it boil down, and taste some along the way. Afterward, head to Mighty Squirrel Brewery to warm up and keep the conversation flowing over a drink.
This program is aimed at young professionals ages 21 to 35, but all adults 21 and older are welcome.
