Description
As spring approaches, many birds are hard at work starting to build their new homes.
Learn all about the different ways that birds and other animals nest, starting with nest-themed free play at stations including sensory bins, puzzles, sorting games, and coloring. Then, settle in for a storybook and songs about these homes made of twigs, leaves, and feathers. Head outside for a short walk to find the real ones tucked into trees and shrubs, then try building a nest of your own out of organic materials you can find outdoors.
This is a playful, relaxed opportunity to gently introduce your budding nature explorer to the outdoors while connecting with other caregivers in a welcoming environment.
