Description
Forget roses and chocolates—celebrate Valentine's Day by discovering how Massachusetts' wildest romances are heating up.
Learn about the surprising world of winter courtship, including the mating habits of groundhogs, deer, and skunks. Find out what drives them to move, call, and search for mates in the coldest stretch of the year. Then, head outside to follow the clues these animals leave behind, from tracks in the snow to scent marks. We'll discuss why breeding season is such a vulnerable time for wildlife, how changing winters could disrupt the timing that keeps these populations going, and what you can do to help.
