Going to the Beech

Description

Spend the morning with one of our most beautiful trees, no bathing suits or umbrellas needed.

Start with a storybook and songs about trees, then spend some time at free-play stations including sensory bins, puzzles, sorting games, and coloring. Take a guided walk to our grove of beech trees to feel their smooth bark, look up into the winter branches, and notice how they stand out from its neighbors. Make a bark rubbing craft to take home as a keepsake from the winter woods.

This is a playful, relaxed way to introduce your youngest nature explorer to the outdoors while connecting with other caregivers.
