Description
Winter may look quiet, but the landscape is far from still. Take a late-morning excursion with a naturalist and learn to read what signs local animals leave in the snow and mud, from tracks and scat to browsed twigs and even antlers. Find out how deer and other animals get through the coldest months, including heavier coats, changing diets, and shelters. Come away with a sharper eye for the season and a clearer sense of why a healthy winter matters for all living things.
