Description
October at Habitat is the season of scatter: seeds are traveling by wind, water, animal, and even tiny explosive mechanisms, and the trails are the perfect place to catch them in the act.
Walk with a naturalist in search of plants going to seed, collecting specimens and learning the diverse strategies plants have evolved to move their offspring far from where they fell. After the hike, head to Mighty Squirrel Brewery to unwind over a well-earned drink with fellow nature lovers.
This program is aimed at young professionals ages 21-35, but all adults 21 and older are welcome.

Meet outside the Education Center. Please wear hiking or walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. We recommend bringing bug spray and a water bottle.
This program is for adults ages 21 and older. Valid ID required at the brewery. Drinks are not included in the program price.
