A fallen log may not look like much at first glance, but flip one over and you'll find hidden world of creatures going about their lives.
Start with free play like puzzles, coloring, and sensory bins at themed activity stations, then gather for a storybook reading and songs to learn all about the creatures that live under logs. Then, head outside for guided exploration on the trails. Roll over logs in search of roly-polys, worms, slugs, millipedes, and more, and discover the role of decomposers in keeping the forest healthy.
