Description
Immerse yourself in the natural history of fall! This monthly program guides you through the full seasonal cycle, from insects in the meadow to the science behind leaves changing color and wild turkeys strutting through the forest. Participants will build their knowledge of different ecosystems and wildlife behaviors, form community with like-minded adults, develop a lasting connection to the landscape, and learn about the conservation practices being done to protect it.
Each session begins with a brief introduction inside before spending at least 90 minutes exploring the trails, boardwalks, and varied habitats of the sanctuary. By the end of the season, you'll be equipped with the knowledge to see the natural world in a richer light. There might be an occasional change in timing or topic depending on what nature provides.
