Description
Get ready for an afternoon out that's a little wild! September brings a colorful array of plants, and while they can't walk or talk, they have creative ways of sending their seeds far and wide. Explore the sanctuary at golden hour as a naturalist guides you through meadows of goldenrod and forests filled with asters, sharing the science behind how plants prepare for the next generation. By the end of the walk, you'll look at every burr, pod, and berry with new eyes.
Afterward, head to Mighty Squirrel Brewery to socialize with your fellow nature enthusiasts.
This program is aimed at young professionals ages 21-35, but all adults 21 and older are welcome.

Meet at the kiosk outside the Education Center. Please wear hiking or walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. We recommend bringing bug spray and a water bottle.
This program is for adults ages 21 and older. Valid ID required at the brewery. Drinks are not included in the program price.
