Description
Summer in Massachusetts means beautiful green spaces, sweet ice creamand a chorus of buzzing neighbors. After enjoying a cold treat indoors, head into the meadow with sweep nets to catch and release the insects living in the grass.
Listen for cicadas and crickets, watch for grasshoppers and spiders, and see how many beetle species the group can find before the night is over. Learn to look at fields not as empty space but as a thriving community of creatures. And find out how the choices we make about our own outdoor spaces can make a real difference for biodiversity.
