Description
With their lively jumping and loud chittering, grasshoppers are some of the most entertaining insects to watch, and toddlers agree! Start with free play between several grasshopper-themed activities including sensory bins, puzzles, and coloring, before settling in for a storybook reading and songs about grasshoppers. Then, head outside for a short walk to search for real grasshoppers in their wild homes.
Make crafts to take home and learn a new way of noticing the small creatures underfoot. Enjoy a playful, relaxed opportunity to gently introduce your budding nature explorer to the outdoors while connecting with other caregivers.
