A Nature Year at Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary: Summer Series
Description
Immerse yourself in local natural history this summer! With a Mass Audubon naturalist as your guide, experience the cycle of the seasons at Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary. Gain extensive natural history knowledge, form community with like-minded adults, and enjoy spending time outdoors in nature.
Each month, you will focus on a special topic, natural community, or seasonal phenomenon. Throughout the summer, we'll investigate the relationships between plants and their pollinators, consider the diversity of creatures that make our meadow come alive with sound, and stroll through the sanctuary on a summer evening to discover animal activity at dusk. Topics are subject to change depending on weather and what nature provides.
