Description
Discover the art of harvesting medicinal herbs to make into tea! Beginning with a guided walk through the woods and fields, you'll learn to identify common plants and explore their traditional medicinal uses. Along the way, we'll responsibly gather a small selection of herbs to use in our tea. After the walk, we'll return to the nature center to brew and taste our harvest together. As we sip, we'll talk about each herb's uses, flavors, and unique qualities.
Please note that collecting plants outside of our community gardens is not generally allowed. This is a unique opportunity for our group to carefully gather some wild plants on the sanctuary under the guidance of an herbalist.
