Ponds and Pints

Ready for an evening out that's a little wild? As golden hour approaches, explore Habitat's vernal pool, an ephemeral body of water tucked away in the woods where special creatures like fairy shrimp and wood frogs congregate each spring. Using ponding nets and ID tools, you'll get a close-up look at what tiny creatures are hidden just beneath the surface. Then, head over to our permanent pond and compare how the flora and fauna you find there differ.

At the end of the program, we'll head over to Mighty Squirrel Brewing Company to socialize and unwind over a well-earned pint. Come for the amphibians, stay for the ales!
