Description
Embark on a birding expedition along the stunning coastline of Cape Ann, where rocky shores and open ocean create the perfect backdrop for spotting an incredible variety of winter seabirds. We'll visit several coastal hotspots known for their rich birdlife, scanning the surf and horizon for species like Common Loon, Red-necked Grebe, and elusive alcids like Razorbill and Dovekie.

Instructions
We will meet at the ELC building at Drumlin farm at 8:00 am and travel together by van to various locations. Drop-off will be at the same location at 2:30 pm. Dress warmly in layers and wear warm boots suitable for snowy roads and paths. Bring your own optics or ask in advance to borrow a pair of ours. A spotting scope will be provided for all to share.
We will stop for lunch at a pizza place (not included in the fee). Participants are also welcome to bring their own lunch.
