Description
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to locate the most elusive avian agents in the area. Launching from Drumlin Farm, our elite birding unit will follow hot leads reported on eBird that week, tracking down rare and unexpected visitors making covert appearances this fall. Previous sessions have yielded a near-perfect success rate in finding rare birds, and we're counting on your field skills to keep the streak alive. Once we’ve accomplished our task, we’ll explore other nearby locations to search out other seasonal specialties.
Open to adults and anyone aged 16-17 accompanied by an adult.

Instructions
Meet at Drumlin Farm, where we will travel together in Mass Audubon vans. We'll stop for lunch, not included in fee, at a location to be determined depending on which species we target. Participants are also invited to bring their own lunch. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. We recommend bringing a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen. Bring your own optics or ask in advance to borrow a pair of ours. We will provide a large spotting scope for all to share.
