Description
Take a flavorful journey through the storied and sugary history of maple syrup. As we explore the age-old tradition of turning sap into syrup, you'll get a hands-on look (and taste!) at every step of the process, from tree tap to table. Immerse yourself in the sights, scents, and tastes of late winter in the woods and leave with a newfound appreciation for this sweet New England staple. Be prepared for short walks over uneven, possibly icy or slushy terrain. We will warm up briefly indoors throughout the afternoon.
