Description
Join other teens for an exciting day of urban birding as we explore some of Boston's best city parks and green spaces! From tree-lined paths and community gardens to riverside trails and hidden forest patches, these urban oases are full of surprises.
City parks often host migrating birds stopping to refuel on their journey south. Keep your eyes and ears open for species like White-crowned Sparrows and Orange-crowned Warblers, as well as amazing residents like Peregrine Falcons. We'll walk approximately 2 to 3 miles at a relaxed pace along paved paths, sidewalks, and grassy trails, making the adventure accessible and enjoyable for all experience levels. Whether you're new to birding or a seasoned spotter, this is the perfect opportunity to discover the hidden biodiversity thriving within the city.
