Description
Become a change-maker and learn how to tackle environmental challenges head-on! Collaborate with other teens to identify environmental challenges that matter to you and outline concrete steps you can take to make a difference. Learn how to build a climate action plan through guided activities and teamwork. Learn how to set goals, engage others, and create a plan that turns your passion into impact.
This meeting of Teen Stewardship Leaders will ask: what is a climate action plan? What information do we need in order to make it successful? We will read together from What If We Get It Right by Ayana Elizabeth Jackson and walk through Drumlin Farm's property to learn about the local impacts of climate change. By the end, each participant will have created a rough draft of their own climate action plans and gained the skills and knowledge to enact meaningful change.
