Description
September is peak season for migrating hawks as they make their way south for the winter. Get up close with one of Drumlin Farm's amazing wildlife ambassador hawks and discover what makes these birds such incredible hunters. Learn how to identify local raptors by their size, silhouettes, and flight styles. We’ll then set out on a guided trek to the top of the Drumlin to look for migrating hawks in the wild. The hike will be 1 mile or less up a gentle incline. After your sky-high adventure, get creative and make your own flying bird craft to take home.
