Backyard Birds

Description

There are so many fascinating birds in your very own neighborhood if you know where to look! Meet a few of our incredible wildlife ambassador birds up close - these feathered friends represent species you might find right in your backyard. Learn about their unique behaviors, calls, and favorite foods as we dive into what makes each bird special.

Then, take a guided bird walk through the sanctuary's scenic trails. We'll use our new knowledge to identify local birds by sight and sound while discovering the habitats they call home.

After our outdoor exploration, we'll head inside for a crafting session where you'll create your very own bird feeder using recycled materials. It's a fun and meaningful way to help birds thrive in your neighborhood and bring the birding fun home with you!
