Description
Discover the art of making drinking vinegars, also known as shrubs. These fruit, vegetable, and herb-infused syrups can be sweet or savory, and bring a refreshing twist to both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. These versatile concoctions also make delicious additions to salad dressings and roasted vegetables.
Participants will create a variety of sweet and savory shrubs using seasonal ingredients from the farm. As the vinegars come together, enjoy sipping hot and iced teas made from locally gathered herbs and wild plants. Each person will take home samples to enjoy and inspiration to experiment with in their own kitchens.
