Description
It's turtle time! Get up close and personal with some of our amazing wildlife ambassadors and discover what makes New England’s turtles so unique. From painted turtles basking in the sun to snapping turtles lurking below the surface, we’ll explore the fascinating ways these reptiles survive and thrive in our local landscapes.
After meeting our shelled friends and learning about their habits and habitats, we’ll grab our gear and head outdoors! We’ll search the ponds, forests, and meadows turtles call home, look for tracks and shells, and observe them in the wild.
