Description
Dig into farm life this fall with the fields and barns as your classroom! Experience the changing seasons as colder weather approaches and discover how we grow crops and raise farm animals. Help our livestock team with chores, including feeding the animals and cleaning up the barns. Roll up your sleeves and assist our crops and garden staff with the fall harvest and prepare the fields for winter. Get creative with crafts using materials from the farm such as beeswax and plant parts, and prepare and eat foods with fresh ingredients, like garden salsa. These sessions offer a deeper understanding of plant and animal care, seasonal cycles, and sustainable farming practices while having fun outdoors.
