Description
The Westport and Tiverton areas have become hotspots for rare birds, thanks to the sheer diversity of habitats packed into a small stretch of coast.
Search through thickets for chats, fields for wintering passerines like pipits and Fox Sparrows, and forests for sapsuckers. Add in a variety ducks and coastal waterfowl and spring migrants trickling back in, and the day's list is sure to be impressive. As you explore, you'll see first-hand why habitat diversity and conservation make such a difference for the birds we all love.
