Description
With their vibrant orange and black stripes, Monarch butterflies stand out from the crowd when they visit New England each summer. Take a guided walk through Drumlin Farm's meadows and fields to search for them and discover what makes the perfect monarch habitat. From milkweed patches to nectar-rich wildflowers, find out how you can recreate a monarch haven near your own home.
A story reading connected to the Monarch life cycle ties everything together, and a butterfly craft gives everyone something colorful to take home. This program is a lovely late-summer outing for families who love the natural world.
