Description
On warm summer nights, Drumlin Farm's meadows come alive with an extraordinary light show. Take a guided walk after dark through the fields and woodlands during peak firefly season to witness the flashing lights that they use to communicate.
You'll learn to identify species by their flash patterns, dive into the biology of bioluminescence, and find out the science behind why firefly populations are declining—as well as what each of us can do about it. You'll gain a deeper appreciation for these unique insects as you witness this special summer phenomenon.
