Description
Hone your beekeeping skills as you see firsthand how our resident beekeeper cares for the hives at Drumlin Farm and gain real-time experience as the hives are inspected, managed, and maintained. You'll deepen your skills in safely handling bees, confidently opening and assessing hives, installing new colonies, and recognizing the subtle cues that signal colony health and behavior. Along the way, you'll pick up practical techniques and tricks of the trade.
This program is best suited for those with prior beekeeping experience who are ready to build confidence and refine their craft.
