Description
Catch spring migration at its peak in one of the region's most surprising birding hotspots. Established in 1831, Mount Auburn Cemetery is a 175-acre garden cemetery whose intricately landscaped grounds are a 'migrant trap' for songbirds making the long journey north from their neotropical wintering territory. Enjoy a walk through the historic grounds filled with spring blooms as we look for warblers, kinglets, vireos, orioles, and more.

Instructions
Meet at Story Chapel just inside the cemetery gates at 580 Mount Auburn St., Cambridge. Parking is available inside on any road without a green line. Do not park in the small visitor lot as this is for cemetery business only. Bring any optics you would like or ask in advance to borrow a pair of ours. Wear weather-appropriate clothes and comfortable walking shoes. We recommend bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. We will be walking mainly on paved paths with varying inclines.
