Description
There's so much more to bats than their spooky reputation! Walk through Drumlin Farm's fields and forests at dusk, scanning the sky for bats as they swoop and dive in pursuit of their evening meal.
Using Wildlife Acoustics' Echo Meter technology, we'll pick up the ultrasonic calls beyond our hearing range that bats use to navigate and hunt. Learn about bat behavior, habitat, and life cycles, and at the end of the program, receive an electronic copy of the audio recording so you can relive your bat adventure at home.
