Description
Experience one of the region's most exciting birding hotspots with other teen nature enthusiasts! Also known as Intervale, the Bolton Flats Wildlife Management Area is a massive floodplain that supports many declining or rare nesting marsh birds, as well as providing feeding habitat for migrating wetland species. Explore the wetlands and sharpen your identification skills as we search for waterfowl like Blue-winged Teal, marsh birds like American Bittern, shorebirds like Wilson's Snipe, raptors like American Kestrel, and other striking species including Glossy Ibis and Rusty Blackbird.
