Description
Experience the excitement of spring migration on a full-day adventure to three of Massachusetts' premier wildlife refuges. We'll travel to Oxbow and Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuges and Bolton Flats Wildlife Management Area, exploring a wide range of habitats. Scan wetlands and ponds for Wood Ducks and other waterfowl, check brushy edges and grasslands for sparrows and other songbirds, and wander forest paths listening for the sounds of warblers, vireos, and woodpeckers. Each refuge brings its own character and surprises, promising a wide array of biodiversity to experience.

Instructions
Wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. We recommend bringing a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen. We will be walking approximately 2-3 miles with many stops during the day. Bring your own optics or let us know in advance if you would like to borrow a pair of binoculars. We will have several large spotting scopes for all to share.
We will meet at Drumlin Farm's Environmental Learning Center at 7:00 am and travel together by van. Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early. Drop-off will be at the same location at 5:00 pm.
We will stop for lunch at a local spot (not included in the fee). Participants are also welcome to bring their own lunch.
